Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor who works with children, teens, and young adults navigating trauma, emotional challenges, and life transitions. She is especially passionate about supporting youth and families who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward.
Amanda brings extensive experience working with adolescents in high-needs and complex systems, including juvenile justice and residential treatment settings. This background allows her to understand both the emotional and behavioral needs of youth, while helping families make sense of what they’re seeing and build more effective ways of responding.
Her approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. Amanda believes that healing happens in the context of safe, trusting relationships, and she works to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and understood. She integrates evidence-based and experiential approaches, including EMDR, TF-CBT, TBRI®, and expressive therapies, to help clients process difficult experiences, build emotional regulation skills, and strengthen their sense of self.
Amanda also works closely with parents and caregivers, offering guidance, insight, and practical tools to support progress outside of sessions. Her goal is to help families feel more connected, confident, and equipped to navigate challenges together.
